Cointelegraph — BTCON RWA Seoul Summit

(April 2025)

commission background

Cointelegraph commissioned me to provide coverage of the RWA Seoul Summit 2025, an event exploring real-world asset tokenization in Asia. Given the importance of Korea’s emerging regulatory framework and the summit’s focus on institutional adoption, Cointelegraph wanted in-depth analysis that went beyond standard event reporting to capture the regulatory, technical and market insights shaping this fast-moving sector.

project scope

The assignment involved attending the full-day summit on 14 April 2025, interviewing key speakers, and producing live social media coverage, news articles and an analytical report. The challenge was to distil complex regulatory discussions, technical presentations and strategic insights into accessible content for both industry professionals and mainstream audiences.

report contents

The 25-page report synthesises insights from five panels featuring regulators from Dubai’s VARA, Korean financial institutions, blockchain infrastructure providers such as MANTRA Chain and LayerZero, and policy experts. Key sections include:

  • Korea’s evolving digital asset regulatory landscape and its implications for institutional adoption
  • Dubai’s property deed tokenization pilot that eliminates traditional SPV structures
  • Infrastructure requirements for bringing real-world assets onchain at institutional scale
  • Stablecoin development trends and their potential to reshape cross-border payments
  • The technical foundations enabling RWA tokenization across different blockchain architectures

The report is written for financial institutions, regulators and blockchain projects navigating the convergence of traditional finance and digital assets, with a particular focus on Asian market dynamics and the regulatory developments influencing global adoption.
